Recipes are set out with the ingredients in italics at one side and the instructions in clear paragraphs. They are illustrated with colour photographs, often full page. There is an introduction with general instructions about cooking methods, and in an appendix there are suggestions about planning a menu.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
