Used treadmill at $400

Terrence from Hillcrest

Hi Neighbors,

I am selling my Pro Runner Active X40 treadmill as I rarely use it and it is taking up the space in my room. I paid $599 for it when it was on sale (RRP $799) and I am selling it for only $400. It is fold-able and with wheels to transport around the house.

I bought it in September, 2017 and it is in very good condition (9/10). It comes with warranty (5 Years on Frame, 3 Years on Motor, 1 Year on Parts and Labour). It also comes with operation manual and maintenance tools.

Motor: 1.5 Continuous HP, 2.25 Peak HP
Speed & Incline: 1-13kph, 0-12%
Set Up Size: 1630mm L X 730mm W X 1250mm H
Other Features: 100kg Max User Weight

You would have to arrange the pick up as my car is not big enough to transport it :)

If interested, please text Shiqi on 0211609364. Accept cash or bank transfer.

Price: $400

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.

Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.

For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.

Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?

We hope this brings a smile!

Poll: What do you think of the new police move-on powers?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Central Hamilton businesses are welcoming police being given new powers to move on vagrants, with a city retail advocate saying the previous hands-off approach wasn’t working.

On Sunday the Government announced it would grant police powers to order any individual rough sleeping, begging, or displaying disorderly behaviour to move on.

What do you think of the new police move-on powers? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
