It’s beautiful, it’s free, it’s blowing up on social media sites and drawing so many visitors it’s almost at breaking point, such is the popularity of Putāruru’s Blue Spring - Te Waihou Walkway.
Estimated to see about 45,000 visitors a year before it was re-opened mid last year, the spring’s popularity has exploded with tourists, particularly users of Instagram and TikTok.

All three Hamilton MPs appear to be united behind the retention of the Te Huia passenger rail service between Hamilton and Auckland, as well as potentially expanding it to Tauranga.
But whether Hamilton East’s Ryan Hamilton, Hamilton West’s Tama Potaka and soon-to-be Labour list MP Georgie Dansey have the combined power to shunt transport minister Chris Bishop and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon onto their line of thinking remains to be seen.

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
