It was 60kph, then it was 100, soon it'll be 60 again
NZTA have signed off a speed limit change outside Motutere Holiday Park, south of Taupō.
The change will see speeds drop from 100kph back to 60kph along State Highway 1, extending 700m north and 150m south of Waitapu Rd, covering the park’s busy entrance.

Two people were trying to speak to the occupants of a dark-coloured Ford Falcon on Saturday night that was doing noisy burnouts in the semi-rural area.
