Time is running out to have your say in the future shape of the city, but if a street poll of Hamiltonians is any indication, the prevailing mood is: “We’ll get around to it”.
With just four days left for Hamiltonians to vote in the 2025 local elections, only 20,100 votes have been received – a puny 17.4% of the city’s 115,433 enrolled voters.

Two people were trying to speak to the occupants of a dark-coloured Ford Falcon on Saturday night that was doing noisy burnouts in the semi-rural area.
