Hamilton East Community House; Class Cancelled; No Notice
I am really annoyed at the Waimarie Hamilton East Community House!!! I encouraged two friends to go to the vegan cooking class they were running (which was advertised on a FaceBook page). They turned up this (Tuesday) morning (one of them came all the way from Rotorua!!) at 11 am to find the class had been cancelled due to insufficient numbers. The House had their contact numbers but were far too lazy to contact the people enrolled. Very, very poor service. I strongly suggest people think very, very strongly before booking for any future classes at that House. They need to up their game. See www.eventfinda.co.nz...

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
