The ED in Hamilton is flat out
So many people are coming to Waikato Hospital's emergency department that staffers are struggling to treat them all quickly.
After treating almost 290 people on Monday, Waikato DHB asked people to save ED for the most urgent cases on Tuesday.
Anyone else was asked to see their GP or Anglesea Accident and Medical Centre.

Full refund ‘common sense’ in two-decade rates debacle
The law blocking a full refund for a Hamilton woman who was overcharged rates for 21 years is “illogical,” a city councillor says.
Sue Moroney was investigating the possibility of a refund to Progressive Pilates owner Sonia Lidington, who says the council still owes her thousands of dollars.
