All our work goes to poor countries such as Moldova and Romania but also to other poor countries roundabout. If anyone has left over wool - part balls, odd balls, etc - anything is gratefully received - that are willing to donate, we would love to have it. It's a good feeling knowing that needy people are benefiting from our 'left-overs' and from our handiwork. I am happy to pick any wool up or to arrange for it to be picked up. Please email me on patgee123@hotmail.com to make arrangements. Many thanks. Pat.

The bid for a Waikato medical school has been around for a while, but was put on the backburner at the last change of government.

The idea is for graduate-entry students to train over four years, including one spent in a community setting. But Labour and National have quite different views on whether that's what should happen.
