Strange dog wandering in Sandhurst place, Nawton.
My kids got scared when dog came into our backyard. It’s a black dog. I have reported to the SPCA. The answer from there is funny.” We don’t have any resources to take the dog and said I have go and check with all the neighbours”. I don’t how we can live in the community safely.
If is is anyone please keep them in your property itself please.

While I hesitate to bring up the state of the world at the moment I am one of the ones who have actively divested from foreign interests as a result
E.g. boycotting Starbucks
It's been an interesting experience simply googling who owns what's supposed New Zealand brands
For example Bluebird New Zealand is actually owned by Pepsico which is American
I'm happy to say I have found Heartland chips as a replacement for my snacks but I'm also starting to review the cosmetics, the toothpaste, the soap, as well as almost every other food product in my cupboard as I do not wish to have my money going towards unsavory activities by foreign businesses
If anyone is able to advise of truly New Zealand owned products that are available for purchase locally I would greatly appreciate it
