Hamilton Book Month is on throughout August with 20 events in 2020. There's workshops, panels, illustration, flash fiction, romance and crime, cold cases, mysteries, young adult writers, a soiree, a lit pub quiz, storytelling, poetry, a book swap and book sales, local and national authors, memoir, a blokes book club and an event called What are Readers Reading? Tributes flow for Paul Galletta
Paul Galletta, “a real Waikato guy”, was farewelled by police and the rugby community at FMG Stadium on Wednesday.
A crowd of nearly 1500 gathered to celebrate the life of Galletta, who died at the age of 62 on November 23.
