Janet and her husband both enjoy tending to their garden and shared this about their garden:
"We are both in our eighties and have lived in the Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village for three and a half years. Our passion for gardening spans many years. We change our display every six months to cover Spring and Summer.
The residents in the village regularly bring their visitors to see our display and take plenty of photographs. When you hear comments such as “It lifts my spirits when I get to this corner” you realise how much it means to everyone. We will continue to create a beautiful garden for as long as we are able."

Recently I have had an extraordinarily terrible experience in regards to the cost of accessing healthcare, I'm going to make it very clear that this is not a complaint about the standard of care I received from the staff, but I have left some feedback and their Google reviews for their Te Rapa facility
But when I went into the place I was told that it would cost $100 to get a simple medical certificate so that I would not have my payments cut off via a very different state owned body in this country.
I am in the position of requiring surgery before I am able to regain use of my dominant hand
After much harassment and threats of getting cut off by that state owned body was able to eventually get a medical certificate from a completely different Doctors Service but even at this place it was a substantial cost
I have to say that dealing with the state-owned body was not pleasant either given that the last time I had asked them for help with something the staff member was incredibly abusive and despite filing a complaint about it nearly a year ago had to do so again in January
But thankfully these people record their phone calls for quality assurances don't they?
I am yet to receive a proper response to either of these complaints
Has anyone out there had similar issues dealing with either the state-owned body or tui medical in regards to accessing proper healthcare after the current government has gutted the funding to our public health care system?
I cannot be the only one out there going through this
