Happy New Year to all of the TKMA students.

Taekidokai Martial Arts

We, the instructors and myself, are very keen to get going and get stuck into our training and teaching for the year. Judging by all of the enquiries I have had over the last week, many students and prospective students are also feeling that twitch that tells them that they have had their break and now it is time to get that body moving.

So here are the times and locations of classes in January.

Sunday 13th and 20th January
Hamilton City dojo, Henkada Judo club
10 to 11 am - junior and senior, all grades combined class

Monday 14th, 21st, and 28th January
Flagstaff dojo, Endeavour school, Endeavour Drive
6-7pm, - junior and senior, all grades combined class

Wednesday 16th and 23rd January
Rototuna school. Strathmore Drive
6.30 to 7.30pm - junior and senior, all grades combined class

I look forward to seeing you in a class near you. If you need to contact me for any reason, you can get me on 027 497 0499 or on enquiries@tkma.co.nz

Struggle to see a specialist: Majority of cardiology referrals declined

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Less than half of cardiology referrals to Waikato Hospital were accepted last year, as new data paints a grim picture of people struggling to access specialist care in multiple areas.

GP representatives warn the situation is getting worse, leaving patients in “horrible" pain as they attempt to manage symptoms through primary care, or turning to private healthcare if they could afford it.
