Garage sale from 8.00 am to 11.30 am Saturday 10 June (absolutely no admittance earlier or later!). Lots of good quality women's clothing (sizes 8 to 10 including coporate) and teenage girl's (sizes 10 to 14); fridge/freezer; small chest freezer (hardly used); chest of drawers; ladies bicycle (needs a clean up); lots of crockery/platters/kitchen utentsils; 6 outdoor chairs and general bric a brac. 198 Pukete Road (shows up on map as 6 River Oaks but please use Pukete Road entrance only!).

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
