Deserted Huntly iSite building to become river hub
Huntly’s old iSite is getting a new lease on life as a hub where children learn how to paddle and tales of the river’s history are shared.
The riverside building on Great South Road closed in 2019. A few years later Waikato District Council said it had looked into knocking the former iSite down because it was being vandalised and no local groups wanted to lease it.
