Hamilton - you're getting your library back!
Doors to Hamilton Library will reopen on July 9 - next week - with big plans scheduled for the reopening.
The library, in Hamilton's Garden Place, was closed in November 2016 after part of it was found to be earthquake-prone. The $635,000 fix include changes such as a coffee cart and a more open frontage. Monday's re-opening will start with a ceremony at 9.30am, followed by storytelling, and children's entertainment and activities.
