Stormtrooper Round The Bridges for Starship
Hi team
Please donate to my link below!
fundraise-for-starship.raisely.com...
I am doing the Hamilton Round The Bridges walk in full costume to raise money for The Starship Foundation
WHY I'M DOING IT
I am a member of Outpost 42 Garrison which is New Zealand's representative of the worldwide Star Wars Costuming Group, the 501st Legion.
"While we wear the costumes of Stormtroopers, Sith Lords, Bounty Hunters and other villains of the Star wars films, we dedicate much of our time towards assisting charities and community groups earning us the tagline 'Bad Guys doing good'.
I know there is a need and if I can help in my own way, I will gladly take one for the team, in doing so raising some money for all the brave kids and parents who are the real heroes.
This is why on Sunday November 13th 2022, I will be walking the 6km of the "The Lugton's Round the Bridges" event in Hamilton wearing a screen accurate replica Stormtrooper costume.
So…
Please help a plastic spacemen support some kids and their families by donating through my link to The Starship Foundation
We will see you at the start line.
Thanks in advance
Alistair Richardson aka Hamilton Trooper
Tenants trash home, spray graffiti inside and outside
A Hamilton landlord has been awarded thousands of dollars after tenants left a rental property riddled with graffiti, damage and piles of abandoned furniture, then failed to show up to their own Tenancy Tribunal hearing.
The Tenancy Tribunal has ordered two former tenants of the Inverness Ave property to pay $2,585.83 after their bond was applied to cover unpaid rent, cleaning, rubbish removal, lock changes and repairs.
Poll: Are you a Te Huia fan?
All three Hamilton MPs appear to be united behind the retention of the Te Huia passenger rail service between Hamilton and Auckland, as well as potentially expanding it to Tauranga.
But whether Hamilton East’s Ryan Hamilton, Hamilton West’s Tama Potaka and soon-to-be Labour list MP Georgie Dansey have the combined power to shunt transport minister Chris Bishop and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon onto their line of thinking remains to be seen.
Are you a Te Huia fan? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?
The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
-
9.4% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.5% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
