Slurs hurled after woman hosts candidate's election sign
A Labour candidate, of Indian ethnicity, says a woman was abused because she allowed his election sign to be erected on her property.
The Hamilton woman was harassed and verbally abused by two different groups of men for supporting a “curry candidate”.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, allowed the sign to be erected on her property for Hamilton West Labour candidate Dr Gaurav Sharma.
