“Premises needed:
We are a new Charitable Trust and are looking to rent premises in Hamilton from the 1st August. Initially it would be for a 6 month period, with the option of a further 6 months.
Requirements:
A double garage or better
A small space for an office
A toilet
Power
4 x carparks
Must be close to bus routes, preferably the Orbiter

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Starting gun sounds for housing on Te Rapa Racecourse land with re-zoning
Hamilton City councillors have signed off on a plan change that could see Te Rapa Racecourse swap stables for townhouses.
The deputy mayor says this paves the way for “basically creating a new suburb within the city”.
