IRD phone call!!! Be aware.
I get how these older people get scammed. Just had a computer generated phone call from "IRD" saying that a lawsuit had been filed against me and I need to ring this number or I will have an arrest warrant out for me.
Pure panic set in even though the rational me knew well that IRD doesnt do this. Absolute, pure panic.
Reach out to your oldies, make sure they know this fact. It was quite a heart raising experience for me even though I knew it was fake.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
