Break into car inside driveway
Anyone see any suspicious people lurking around Grey Street area, Hamilton garden end, near the Brookfield street shops last night Monday 10th December? My car was broken into last night, even when the car is parked inside the driveway. Took all my belongings, including my bag and wallet. Thanks to a neighbour couple of streets away found my card pouch with my IDs and bank cards, but all the other stuff is gone. Even my coin compartment in the car been turned inside out.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
