Beware what you click on
my friend clicked on a link on f/b to some singers from Americas Got Talent. IMMEDIATELY where screen froze and an Indian (yes!) guy, very plausible and super friendly came on talking to her and offering to do the unfreezing process. Yes it was a so called 'microsoft' technician but fortunately she backed out before giving financial details. However the damage was done and the scammers had access to all her personal data. The laptop is now undergoing major surgery to have it cleaned and her data reloaded. So stay away from those enticing/humorous etc links that have the unseen potential to fatally infect you.
