Found , a Military Commemorative Army Knife and Case
My daughter has picked up a Army knife and case along our fence line. My guess is that its stolen and been dumped as we have a empty house nxt door , and people are cutting through it all the time . I think it was a gift for someones time served in the army and would have a lot of personal attatchment. It also has an engraving with a name on it.
the inscription say.... S.A.S SGT . ROBERTS. D. 24031697
1967 -1991
FOR LOYAL SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY
If anybody knows this person or someplace I can hand this in ,would be greatly appreciated.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
