Fire-hit family thanks community for help - with a BBQ
An electric heater that ignited left a St Andrews family homeless after a fire that gutted their home.
But their community stepped up to help with accommodation, food and clothes, led by Pukete Neighbourhood House and Pukete School.
On Sunday, Keith Zhou, Vicky Wang and their children Rosie and Kyle thanked their helpers at a donated sausage sizzle partly organised by Neighbourhood Support Hamilton and the North Hamilton Community Patrol.
