Learn about the world's great faith and belief traditions. EarthDiverse is pleased to announce its Term 2 course “Understanding Islam”, which provides a detailed and objective introduction to the history, texts, beliefs and practices of the Islamic faith. This course meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm beginning on 11 May. Both in-person and on-line distance-learning options available via Zoom. Our second Term 2 course is an in-person course only offered in Te Awamutu, entitled “Contemporary Belief and Practice.” This course meets on alternate Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm beginning on 19 May. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
