Hamilton East’s Steele Park is top of the list of sites for a giant underground wastewater storage tank that could help get building in the city underway again.
Swathes of Hamilton have been ruled off limits to development due to a lack of wastewater capacity. One solution is bulk storage that spreads the load, but comes with the added conundrum of where to put the giant underground poo tanks.
