Hamilton Zoo’s earnings are on the rise as despite having fewer visitors, they’re each spending more.
But director Baird Fleming says the higher than target visitor numbers and revenue don’t increase cash available for park developments, and the zoo remains too lean to afford one key addition: a kangaroo encounter.
