Thanks Heaps To Two Nursing Students Helping Friend
Just wanted to say a very heartfelt "thank you so very much" to two Wintec Nursing Students (females) who came to the aid of my friend whose legs failed him in Fitzroy. (They will know who they are. Sadly, I didn`t get their names). They supported my elderly friend until I arrived, assisted me in trying to get him into my car then waited until the ambulance arrived. Thanks again so very much. Your actions were very, very much appreciated.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
