Honey bee swarms
I just thought I would post a message about swarms as I have seen in the news some people have been setting them on fire in Auckland - please don't do this. If you see a swarm contact a local beekeeper (such as myself - contact details below) who will gladly come and collect them for you free of charge.
I am happy to come and collect swarms in the Waikato.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
