Spread some festive cheer! Volunteer as a Christmas Gift Wrapper!
Volunteering Waikato is still looking for a few more volunteers to gift wrap at Centre Place or The Base in December. This is our only fundraiser for the year, the malls pay for all resources, and all donations come directly to help us support 330 other charities in our region. Gift wrapping shifts are around 4 hours long, and you need to be available for at least three during the month. It's tonnes of fun, you can bring a friend/family member, and training is provided. From rugged campsite to 7.5ha resort
Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.
He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
“Camping’s been in my blood.”
