The theme is "Sign up for Sign Language Rights." Given the 20th anniversary of the CRPD in 2026, we are striving towards a better implementation of the CRPD at the national level through the linguistic human rights of deaf people. Sign up for Sign Language rights by working with your local and national associations to announce the achievement of a concrete goal for deaf communities today. ‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
