Have a Go Day - Tuesday 6 December
You’re invited to come along to this year’s Have a Go Day, Tuesday 6 December 11am-1.30pm in Civic Square, outside Hamilton City Council. Spread the word amongst your clients and colleagues and invite them along!
The Have a Go Day and disability expo provides an excellent opportunity to learn about accessing the region’s bus network, and gain skills and advice to enable people to live the independent life they choose. There will be two buses on site, a disability expo with many local providers, a wheelchair/mobility scooter skills course and plenty of one-on-one advice from BUSIT staff and disability providers.
The day is organised by Waikato Regional Council, Hamilton City Council, Life Unlimited and CCS Disability Action. We hope to see you there!
Poll: Is it rude to talk on the phone on a bus?
Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.
Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
