As a child, Ben McMorran noticed a girl at his school was getting out of class by taking piano lessons.
Thinking, “I want some of that”, he began a musical journey that would eventually see him win the 2025 Six60 scholarship.
The Six60 scholarship package for McMorran includes a rent rebate to the value of $10,000 for tenancy at 660 Castle Street, full access to the university’s recording studio, and mentorship and guidance from members of Six60.
