A review that could determine the future of Te Huia train service is nearly complete, and some promising data is emerging.
The review of the Hamilton-Auckland train will influence whether Waka Kotahi keeps funding the trial beyond the middle of the year - but it won’t be ready for this Friday’s multi-agency Future Proof public transport sub-committee hui, as initially indicated.
Instead, the New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi board will see it first, and a date for that isn’t yet confirmed.
S Steel Stovetop Cleaning
I am desperate to find someone who is experienced in cleaning a stainless steel stove top.The worst one was when I was making soup(about one and a half hours) and I was using a simmer mat. I have found that if I am using the burner for even an hour I get this pale brown "bloom" which is almost impossible to remove. The pics show that I have got some off but that is using steelo and I can't get around the burner. Please, only give me something that does work, so I don't wreck the thing totally. I can't take my pans off half way through cooking and wipe around, it would be too hot. I'm desperate.

A group of Hamilton business owners have started a petition to stop the council from hiking up rates and passing the cost of what they say are unpopular projects on to residents.
It frustrates longtime residents Tom Andrews, a former roading engineer who owns Classics Museum and has property interests and Jo Reeder, to see Hamiltonians facing large bills.
