Wastewater discharge in lakes and rivers - how is this still happening?
Hi neighbours - the Queenstown Lakes District Council is pursuing its plan to spill wastewater into the region's pristine lakes and rivers, despite strong opposition.
193 submissions were received on the resource consent application, with 190 opposed, TWO in favour and ONE in neutral.

⏳ The not-so-great news? It’s still a little way off. The Invercargill City Council has decided to wait until the museum is fully finished in late 2027 before opening, instead of opening parts early at extra cost.
