We're 48 hours into the critically-low water reservoir crisis in Tapanui and we're in for a dry old time of it. However, having said that, there is the patter of rain on the porch roof at Kaka Point, so the rain dance earlier on the beach must have worked. To put it into perspective, also attended a fatal crash on the way to Milton today... it's a shocking bit of road. Read more:
