Hoons with fireworks leave trail of destruction through Selwyn

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The occupants of two cars left a trail of chaos after shooting fireworks at each other's windows as they sped through through Selwyn chasing each other. Senior Constable Chris Caldwell, of Rolleston police, said the incident in Selwyn on Saturday, resulted in a fire breaking out in a hedge. The fire left significant damage to several hedge-rows and gardens and threatened to spread to a house.

The BMW is described as silver, with 18 inch mag wheels. The RX8 is a distinctive metallic blue with tinted windows, black wheels, and white writing on an angle on the rear windscreen.
