Caution if selling a house
If you are selling a house beware. We just got burnt by a fella agreeing in writing to buy our house and saying he will sign the sales agreement as soon as it is drawn up. A week later we find out he has offers on other places as well. We had details of agreed price, conditions and everything else sorted but by the time the sales agreement was written up he was silently putting offers on others. Now we are in a jam.
So, take care if you are selling.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
