Tsunami warning device
Does anyone know why Gisborne has no meaningful means of an audible warning to wake us in the dead of night. If my sister didn't ring me in the early hours of this morning, I would have had no idea there was a warning. At some point in the future it's possible that we could have a real tsunami and most people wouldn't know. Is our council doing anything? I would be very prepared to pay extra in my rates to cover a good system. Any thoughts?
