Mobility Parks

Max & Lizzie from Kairanga

I am not only wondering about our Town Planner and their use of common sense, but our Parking Team. If any of you have been to City Doctors on Victoria, in a Mobility Van, can you tell me how you are supposed to safely get your passengers out of the van, into oncoming traffic. The park provided is so unsuitable for the purpose it is designed and URGENTLY needs sorting. It has now become a revenue item for Parking enforcement as drivers can either risk their passengers or pull forward onto the footpath to enable them to safely disembark their passengers. This is so irresponsible of Parking Department and of City Doctors for not insisting on safe parking for their patients. Please feel free to email the Council Parking Department on behalf of our disabled community. Stuff perhaps you could help, would be nice if this could be sorted before someone is hit!
