Kindling Wood

John from Levin

Hi Neighbors and Friends,
On visiting Supermarkets, and Homewhare shops it really gets under my skin the rediculous prices that these community shops are charging for the necessity for families to keep themselves warm during and into the colder part of our year.
On seeing what these supposed community and family providers are charging for bags of firewood and kindling is totally unbelievable
From what I've looked at, how can they substanciate charging $15-00 plus for a bag of 12 wood rings/rolls, or $18-99 for a box of Kindling Wood.
With this regard, I have devoted a lot of time and effort in making available to the Levin residents Kindling Wood options, that as I feel a more friendly and acceptable cost to households.
As you will see from the attached photo's, there is 2 options available.
No.1 on left $10, approx 90+ pieces per box
No.2 on right $12-50 approx 130 + per box
Its not my intention to rip anyone off, but my time in producing this product, is a lot higher than the asking price, however I believe the community deserve better.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
