Wanted, Dog to join our home

Anita from Shannon

Looking for a dog to join our household aged around 4 months We have an elderly dog, free range chickens, a few rescue cats as well as kids. We take good care of our pets. I work from home, hubby works out of town, and our cats and dog have free range of our house. Night times are a bit of a game of twister in bed as we shuffle for a spot on the bed. I’m not after an extravagant, expensive, designer dog. Ideally I would like a sweet natured, affectionate one, that hasn’t developed the chase instinct, or aggression with cats or chooks And needs a good home. Preferably a girl, that will finish growth around the medium size. Would need to meet in advance to ensure I have the connection to the dog and that it would be a suitable fit. I know what I’m looking for in a dog, it’s just trying to find the right one. we are located in Shannon, we own our own home, on a decent sized fully fenced section. All our pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and desexed, and we provide them with vet treatment as needed. Our current dog is walked regularly, and registered. Our pets are family, and are for life. If you have a pup that needs a good home, let me know 🤗

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
