Join us for your Community Health Forum

Waikato DHB

Kia ora, we’re holding a Community Health Forum in your area, and we want to hear from you. At Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand we want you to join the conversation on enabling better access to community health and wellbeing services. This month’s forum will include a local health update, discussion of our new health system, localities development, and community feedback.

Come along to our friendly forum and share your knowledge and experience.

Atawhai hui and shared kai (same venue, 10am-12pm)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
