Tune in to "Focus on Arts" on 104.7FM this Sunday at 11am, to hear from Janet Bayly (left - curator and director of Mahara Gallery), Kate Hartmann (centre - artist, and exhibitor), and Joanna Mere (right - Environmental jeweller and exhibitor) talking about Mahara Iti's exhibition, 'From Dark to Light'. The exhibition is at Mahara Iti's Mahara Place Gallery from Monday to Friday 10 am till 4 pm (Kate Hartmann, curator of the show) will be in the gallery from 1 till 4pm Thursday and Friday's). They also have a retail area too - great for gifts! Check out the earrings, ceramics....
The gallery will also open Saturday 17th December - for the last day of the exhibition.
For those last minute Christmas gifts, Mahara Gallery will be open Friday 23rd December till 4pm.

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️
First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.
While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.
And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?
