my cows

Chrissie from Foxton

i would like to thank the persons that shut mine and the neighbors cows in the paddocks that have trees so they can get shade BUT you shut them out of the water supply and they went without water for over a week.As they have free range of the block. So please in the future leave our gates alone we do not need you telling us how to raise our cows and calves and stop playing around with our gates they can get to shade they need to and please STOP putting notes in the letter box SAVE PAPER for the shade

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
