Personnel Councillor

John from Levin

Is there anyone out there with experience, or know of someone who is involved in this, and can give some advice to a friend who has someone with a problem.
I don't want to say to much on here, but just ask that if you can help with the above, please don't express it on here, but please contact me on
021 756-020 John, and I will pass your help on to the person who has the problem with a family member

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
