Low Cost Bins

Helena from Levin

Low cost bins seems to blame the customer when they stuff up and are not even willing to allow time for me to pay an increase of $66 per year over a couple of months they seem to prefer to lose a longstanding customer I paid the amount I was invoiced for then I am told because I had moved I needed to pay an extra $66 per year and that I had one week to do so. However I had told them of my change of address before I moved and even in recent Phone calls it has not been mentioned I have offered to pay $6 per week to make up the $66 dollars before my contract ends but no that isn't good enough for them it seems but if I end my contract I have to give them a months notice

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
