Hello beautiful people - It's on again! - The Mangaweka Community Garage Sale Trail and The Mega Mangaweka Book Fair!

All you Sellers & Buyers; Be sure to let all your friends and family know, Mangaweka is the place to be on Saturday 22 October (Labour weekend) 2022.

SELLERS; Spring Time is here - and it's time to clear out those cupboards, drawers and sheds & garages and 'Trade that Trash for Ca$h" !! You've used it and loved it, but rather than bin it, now that you're done with it - Recycle it back into cash for your pocket!

Those wanting to have a Garage sale, let Cat know at : richandcat2008@gmail.com and she will add your garage or sale-site to the map - If you don't have a garage in town, and still want to join in, give Cat a shout on 021 524 585 - There's room for everyone!.

BUYERS; Bargains Galore to be had at the village wide GARAGE SALES. Pick up, tools, plants, toys, Art, nick-nacks, old records & CD's clothes etc - you name it, and it will likely be here, though first in best dressed! (Opens at 8am - Please, not earlier!).

The BOOK FAIR will be held in the Village Hall. Hundreds of titles. Fact, Fiction, Novels, Guide Books, Big, small, Hard back and paperback, the works. All at seriously knock down prices! (fundraiser for Mangaweka Heritage - Note; if you have old books to donate (no magazines thanks) please make contact with the organisers to donate before the event date - Thanks).

A huge range of Refreshments/Coffee/Tea Cakes & Meals will be served at the "Dukes Roadhouse" Cafe and tea rooms - Public WC/Toilets centrally situated in town - Awe inspiring Art on Sale at Mangaweka "Yellow Church" Gallery - and great value Petrol at the Allied Gas station in town - Then when you are done buying, why not make a short trip down to the river and Awastone River Haven for an afternoon bite & drink in wonderful Rangitikei surrounds?

So... every reason to make Mangaweka your prime destination on Saturday 22 October - Labour weekend - 2022 !

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
