Wasps give a very painful sting and can repeatedly sting. Adults, children, pets and Monarch butterflies (from the egg to chrysalis), bees etc are all targets.

An easy, cheap trap is to cut the top of a plastic bottle and turn the top upside down. Mix 2 cups apple cider vinegar, 2 cups sugar (not honey as that will attract bees) and 1 cup water. I found this enough for 3 bottles. Wasps get in and can't get out.
