This is an event with entertainment and a chance to enjoy catching up with others from the community and have some delicious food and cups of tea. Saturday November 12th- 1920s Ball $75. Come and enjoy a night of fun. Canapes and supper are provided. The Shenanigans will be playing during the evening. They are a great band, so come and dance the night away. Spot prizes. Get dressed up and join the fun.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
