Upcoming 5-night closure of Remutaka Hill for essential maintenance
A reminder that State Highway 2 (SH2) over the Remutaka Hill will be closed for 5 nights from 9 pm Sunday 7th November to 4 am Friday 12th November to allow crews to safely complete essential work.
The 5-night road closures enable road crews to safely undertake essential maintenance and slip prevention works for the safety of all road users. Motorists are advised to plan ahead.
